A few days ago, a book without a title or author name, set to release on July 9th, called "4C Untitled Flatiron Nonfiction Summer 2023," sparked a guessing game among Taylor Swift fans. They were so convinced that the book was a memoir written by Swift that they made it a bestseller.
On Thursday, the rumors about Swift were proven false and the confusion was cleared up when Flatiron Books revealed that they will be publishing a book by BTS, another popular music group.
The book titled "Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS" is a 544-page publication, as stated by the publisher. It was authored by Myeongseok Kang, a journalist, and is presented in the form of an oral history that chronicles the journey of the K-Pop boy band.
Anton Hur, along with Clare Richards and Slin Jung, worked together to translate it into English.
J-Hope, a K-Pop idol, has become the second member of BTS to join the South Korean army. Fans of both Swift and BTS were excited by the information provided in the book. Click to download the Fox News app.
On June 13, which is a significant date for Swift and also marks the 10th anniversary of BTS' first single "No More Dream," the identity of the author and subject was supposed to be disclosed. Additionally, the page count numbers of 5-4-4 equate to 13.
The date of publication, which is July 9, coincides with two important events: the release of Swift's album "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" and the celebration of ARMY day, which marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of BTS' ARMY fan base.
The book's topic was the subject of much speculation, which led to it becoming a top-selling item on both Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble's website.
Flatiron had notified book vendors about a significant publication that was marketed as an enjoyable and festive book that would appeal to a slightly younger demographic.
According to an email sent by a sales representative from Flatiron, the book is expected to have a wide international audience and receive significant media attention.
