Vanessa Kirby, who starred alongside Tom Cruise in "Mission: Impossible," is revealing information about the actor's involvement in performing his own stunts.
Kirby, who plays the role of White Widow in "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One," remembered seeing Cruise jump off a motorcycle and go over a cliff in Iceland without any fear. Kirby told Variety that Cruise did this multiple times in a single day.
He captured all the different angles and sides of it by doing it consecutively and repeatedly. Cruise doesn't seem to display any nervousness.
During the filming of 'Mission: Impossible 8', Tom Cruise jumped off a mountain using a parachute. The actress who witnessed the event mentioned that he appeared very composed.
He was fearless.
He found it thrilling.
The level of faith in the potential of cinema and the enthusiasm that he had for it is truly motivating.
He has a belief that he can achieve the impossible and he proves it by actually accomplishing it.
I enjoy being involved in the franchise.
I am eagerly looking forward to returning. Last December, Cruise posted a video of himself executing the "most remarkable stunt in the history of cinema." At the start of the video, Cruise stated that this was by far the most perilous feat they had ever attempted.
The plan is to film the scene in Norway where a motorcycle will jump off a cliff and then transition into a base jump. Cruise expressed his desire to do this since he was young, as the camera showed a large ramp leading to the edge of a cliff.
The success of the stunt ultimately depends on the audience, according to writer-director Christopher McQuarrie. Tom Cruise developed a detailed plan and enlisted a team of experts from various fields to accomplish the feat. Second unit director and stunt coordinator Wade Eastwood explained the extensive preparation that Cruise and the team underwent, including a year of training in various skills. The video showed Cruise performing the stunt six times in one day. McQuarrie stated that this was the most dangerous stunt they had ever attempted.
I am even more frightened by what we have in store for "Mission 8." The seventh part of the "Mission: Impossible" series will be released in cinemas on July 14. Click here to download the Fox News app.
