On Monday afternoon, authorities in Farmington, New Mexico reported that there was an occurrence of an "active shooter" situation which led to three fatalities and caused harm to at least two law enforcement officials.
According to authorities, there are several additional non-military casualties.
According to a statement, two officers, one from the Farmington Police Department and the other from the New Mexico State Police, were shot and are currently receiving medical attention at a nearby hospital.
