The Pinellas Park Police Department reported that a nearly six-foot alligator was found wandering in the parking lot of a Publix grocery store in Pinellas Park, Florida. The police were notified by someone who saw the alligator near 49th Street and Park Boulevard. Police made a humorous statement in a press release about the alligator following traffic laws as it moved towards a parking lot near a busy intersection. They also reassured the public that both the man and shoppers were safe.
