The janitor of an elementary school in California was apprehended on Friday and is currently detained on a bail of $2,000,000 for purportedly engaging in sexual misconduct with children who are below the age of 10.
Christopher Slager, a 61-year-old resident of Pollock Pines, has been accused by the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office of committing numerous sexual acts with a child under the age of 10.
Slager was employed at a primary school located in Camino.
The authorities did not provide any information about the individuals who were affected, but they verified that none of them were registered in Camino schools when the supposed mistreatment occurred.
The press release from the sheriff's office stated that there were no known individuals who were enrolled at Camino School or Camino Unified School District who were identified as victims at the moment.
The California Reparations Committee is urging for compulsory training on anti-bias to be a requirement for graduating from medical school. Following his detention, Slager was taken to Placerville Jail in El Dorado County.
As of Saturday afternoon, Slager's name was still present on the school district's website as a custodian.
The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office is currently conducting an investigation and is requesting anyone who has information to get in touch with Detective Harris via email at harrisb@edso.org.
Camino Union Elementary School District was contacted by Fox News Digital for a statement, but they did not respond. The authorities in Los Angeles are offering a reward for information to help solve the murder of a former NBA star's father. Currently, there are no further details available about the incident.
